TYREPOWER Wonthaggi manager Ashley England has been congratulated and recognised for 10 years of service.
Since starting at the service centre part-time as a 16 year-old in high school, Ashley has risen through the ranks to the role of manager, due to his hard work and loyalty.
Tyrepower Wonthaggi owner Kris Baker said he was proud of what Ashley’s achieved and how much he’s learnt throughout the 10 years.
“He’s great with not just the customers but the staff as well.
“He really takes the new workers under his wing and teaches them everything and passes on everything he can,” he said.
“He’s taught himself a lot of stuff about cars and he’s come from a boy to a bloke who runs the show; he doesn’t need me here.
“It shows you can start off as a tyre fitter and now he’s got a company car, fuel card and he’s an integral part of the business.
“He’s also had 10 years’ service at the CFA so he gives back to the community.”
