FIREWORKS displays will be held in coastal towns around the Bass Coast on New Year’s Eve.
New Year’s Eve goers will treated to a display at the Inverloch Recreation Reserve at 9.30pm, coinciding with the carnival action.
For those in Waterline towns, Coronet Bay will be the place to see the New Year in again this year with a family friendly event running on the Coronet Bay Foreshore Reserve from 6pm, including a fireworks display at 9.30pm.
Enjoy a local band, rides for the children, food and drink stalls and novelty items for purchase.
This community fundraiser will help gather funds for providing local amenities and events in the coming year – a gold coin donation on arrival is appreciated.
The Cowes New Year’s Eve celebrations will take place along The Esplanade from 5.30 to 9.30pm.
There will be family friendly activities including a petting zoo, face painting, jumping castle and carnival rides.
Sit back and take in the magically fireworks display at the Cowes Jetty from 9.30 9.40pm.

Candlelight Labyrinth Walk
A Candlelight Labyrinth Walk will be held from 8–10pm, off Back Beach Road, San Remo (go along the unmade road past Lions Park).
The labyrinth is on the right behind the cypress trees. Join in placing candles, discussing labyrinths, watch the sun setting, then walk the labyrinth as the candle lights emerge. Bring your musical instrument to play, a rug and torch.
