Second stage of Powlett Ridge estate released

In a quiet area close to the Wonthaggi town centre is the Powlett Ridge Estate, with Stage 2 just released.

THE second stage of the Powlett Ridge estate in Wonthaggi’s east has been released.
And you couldn’t get better views than this – with generous lot sizes at affordable prices.
The blocks are selling from $149,000 with lot sizes ranging from 608m² to 731m².
It makes a great purchase for first-home buyers – taking advantage of the $20,000 First Home Owner Grant in the Bass Coast Shire. In most metropolitan areas, it’s only $10,000.
The Powlett Ridge estate is ideal for retirees and families with young or teenage children, as the State Government invests around $150 million into Wonthaggi.
The new estate, tipped to temporarily ease Wonthaggi’s depleted land supply, is situated close to the new site of the Wonthaggi Secondary College senior campus.
For primary school-aged children, an extensive network of footpaths will mean it’s a short walk to and from local schools.
Kainen Schrape of PBE Real Estate Wonthaggi said most of the estates in and around Wonthaggi are selling quickly.
“We have 28 of these generous block sizes in Stage 2 and these ones have spectacular views,” he said.
“The main benefit is they’re near the town centre, they’re within walking distance to so many schools and shops.”
Mr Schrape said whether people want to purchase a first home or are keen to upgrade to a more relaxed way of life, there is a block to suit anyone’s lifestyle and budget at Powlett Ridge.
As the estate develops, it will also link with Inverloch Road.
“We found Stage 1 sold in just a couple of months. Everything around here is selling so quickly.”
Building guidelines have been prepared to assist purchasers in designing and building their homes to a high standard, maximising their investment and enhancing the quality of the estate as a whole.
“There will be a range of competitively priced house and land packages available through select local building companies.”
Stage 2 titles are expected in June 2019.
