In E Grade, Rachael Huxtable rode Casuarina Ridge Romeo to victory.

THE Loch Nyora Pony Club held their first competition in over 10 years on Sunday, January 6.
The weather was perfect for an enjoyable day show jumping, with 45 riders attending along with family and friends from all over Gippsland.
Volunteers worked hard in lead up to the event to ensure grounds were perfect and show jumping equipment presented with a fresh coat of paint.
Local support was also appreciated from Nyora General Store, Heylens, Hillview Equestrian, Mt. Lyall Dairies and SS Saddlery – just to name a few.
Show jumping was keenly contested with in each event and great sportsmanship was obvious throughout the day.
Champion and reserve champion riders in each section received a lovely inscribed rug and a bag of horse feed respectively.

In C Grade, Boyd West rode two horses and was the champion and reserve champion rider.
In D Grade, the champion was Hayley Dalton and reserve Champion Georgia Truong.
In E Grade, the champion was Rachael Huxtable and the reserve champion was Lucy Phipps.
Loch Nyora Pony Club look forward to their February 3 rally with Show Jumping instructor Adam Wootten attending for lessons to pony club members and public.
This would also be a great day to pop in and see pony club in action. Come and try before you buy is also available for riders to attend for the day at a small fee which covers insurance.
