auctioneerLJ Hooker Auctioneer Scott Hughes calls for bids on an Inverloch beachfront property recently. The firm sold one on The Esplanade last week for $1.072 million.

LJ HOOKER Inverloch has had a busy round of auctions in the past two weeks, the highlight being the sale of another million-dollar property along The Esplanade at Inverloch.
The firm was offering two adjacent properties on The Esplanade last Saturday, April 6 at 11am, number 43 and number 45, available for sale separately or together.
Number 43, which features a very neat and tidy two storey residence on 1000m2, was offered first and received an opening bid of $700,000 before progressing in $50,000 increments to $850,000. Between vendors’ bids and genuine bids, the price went to $1 million, where it was passed in.
LJ Hooker’s Allan Mann said the property was sold over the weekend, to Melbourne interests for $1.072m.
Number 45 failed to sell at auction and is on the market at $1.25m.
The previous weekend, Hookers also offered 144 Surf Parade, which was passed in and has good interest at a market price of $765,000.
“That’s excellent buying in that location and we would expect to close a sale there soon,” Mr Mann said.
