PHILLIP Island’s three-day World Superbike Championship is big value, with action and entertainment for all the family starting this Friday.
There are 14 races from six categories on the program – world championship classes, world superbike and world supersport, and local classes for Australian superbike/prostock, Australian supersport in the Phillip Island Championship, plus historics for the veterans and the MRRDA juniors for 12-16 year olds.
Local attractions, restaurants and retailers are adding to the entertainment package with exclusive offers for those attending the event to make it a perfect family weekend escape.

A three-day pass purchased in advance is just $99* for an adult, with children 15 and under free, if accompanied by a full paying adult.
The $99 deal ends tomorrow (Wednesday, February 19 at 2pm), so get it now to secure your family passes. Three-day pass, $150 at gate.
Trackside camping is also a bargain $80 per adult, purchased in advance, ($110 at gate) for four nights under the stars. Children 15 and under, accompanied by a full paying adult, are free.
To keep you entertained while camping, a different band will be playing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Want the best view in the house?
Try BarSBK for $250 for three days (only available in advance) with undercover, licensed viewing areas at three of the circuit’s best viewing areas – Doohan Corner, Siberia and Lukey Heights.
In addition, each Bar SBK location faces a super screen, so at any moment you can glimpse at the big screen to watch the lead action across the entire 4.45km circuit.
There is bike parking close by each Bar SBK undercover facility, allowing fans to easily move from one Bar SBK site to another.
You don’t need to “book” your prime viewing seat, because with a Bar SBK pass you just wander at your will, knowing you always have a spot at a Bar SBK.
It’s also comfortable as each Bar SBK has a licensed bar where fans can buy beverages, and is close to eating outlets.
And having access to the Bar SBK undercover facility for all three days means you are protected from the weather, no matter how hot or cold.
“Bar SBK is a great value ticket,” says Fergus Cameron, managing director of the Phillip Island circuit.
“You can sit right above Doohan Corner and watch the superbikes come flying past at the exit of Gardner Straight.
“The supers are all hitting around 300km/h plus there, and from Bar SBK you can see from Doohan Corner all the way to Stoner Corner and through to turn 4, in and out of Siberia and even over the top of Lukey Heights.
“A Bar SBK pass gives you portability and convenience at the right price. You can move from one location to another at your whim, and easily park your bike close to each facility.”
Bar SBK pass holders also get access to Free Paddock Friday and to autograph sessions with the leading riders scheduled Friday from 10.15am to 12.15pm in the Paddock Show.
All residents of the Bass Coast Shire have free entry on Friday of the event. All they have to do is show proof of where they live to gain entry.
In addition, your world superbike ticket allows you to take advantage of many Phillip Island offers from local attractions, eateries and accommodation houses.
Some of the deals feature:
• State Coal Mine, Wonthaggi.
• Laser Strike Skirmish.
