FORMER Korumburra gymnast Joshua Kelly has taken his talent to the national stage, winning a silver medal at the recent 2014 Australian Gymnastics Championships.
Going up against the nation’s best, Joshua and his partner Shannae Tritt were impressive during their performances at Melbourne Park’s Hisense Arena last month. The event attracts more than 1000 athletes, runs over two weeks and features the top gymnasts from each state vying for the title of Australian Champion.

Joshua and Shannae teamed-up for the Acrobatic Gymnastics Level 6 Mixed Pairs competition, finishing with an overall score of 48.050. They narrowly missed out on the gold medal to NSW with a score of 51.250.
The result was a culmination of five years of combined training between the two, with Joshua spending the past three years practicing and perfecting the sport, while Shannae has been in training for two years.
Joshua now lives and works in Altona.
