THE sales team down at Wonthaggi Holden are offering some sensational deals on the latest models of Colorado 4X4 and Colorado 7, Captiva and the Limited Edition Commodore Storm Sedan and Wagon.
Sales for the Colorado 4X4 base model DX and the top of the line Colorado LTZ since June have been outstanding, with the dealership calling for more stock.
Sales consultant Daniel Smith said the Colorado 4X4 dual-cab LTZ has been a very popular car over the last couple of months.
“It is streets ahead in its class at the moment.”
It’s received rave reviews by 4X4 experts and is the vehicle of choice in many of the specialty 4X4 shows.
“Sales have been absolutely fantastic,” Mr Smith said.
“Extra features of the alloys, sidesteps, softer interior, sports-bar and the overall chrome styling around the vehicle,” Mr Smith said.
The Colorado is built to make your life better… and easier.
A brand new feature is Holden’s Mylink technology, giving you access to apps, audio streaming and also contains bluetooth capabilities.
Parking is breeze with a Rear View Camera and also Rear Park Assist which helps with getting in and out of tight spots.
The built-in BringGo Sat Nav makes sure you never lose sight of where you’re going, featuring 3D maps all visible on Mylink’s 7” touch-screen.
“They’re very, very competitive; they boast an engine with 500Nm of torque, which is very high in its class and also the 3.5 tonne towing capacity which doesn’t compromise on the vehicle’s top-class fuel economy,” Mr Smith said.
The Colorado Crew-Cab range comes with a maximum 5-star ANCAP safety rating which offers piece of mind in regards to your family or workmates.
“Customers do a lot of homework in the 4X4 market and for its price and capabilities it is a very well presented car.”
The current Captiva 7 model went on sale at the beginning of this year and is a facelift of the previous model.
The seven-seats make it extremely versatile but it also boasts a compact exterior, so unlike some of the other family SUVs on the market, it’s a perfect fit for any family, big or small.
“New features include: remote locking, keyless entry and keyless start, leather and heated seats, 19” alloys, sidesteps and sunroof,” Mr Smith said.
One of the best features of the brand new Captiva 7 is the fuel economy.
Whether you choose the 2.2 litre turbo diesel or the 3.0 litre petrol engine, the Captiva 7s miserly fuel consumption means fewer trips to the bowser and more money in your pocket.
“We find that the diesel model is more popular because it is better suited to the customer’s needs,” Mr Smith said.
Safety is of upmost importance in a family SUV and the Captiva 7 does not let you down in that department.
Its safety features include Electronic Stability Control (ECS) and Traction Control System (TSC), both designed to get families home, safe and sound.
“It’s a true family vehicle,” Mr Smith said.
An Australian icon, the Holden Commodore has been synonymous with the Australian road for decades and the Limited Edition Storm has been a winner at Wonthaggi Holden.
The Holden Commodore Storm Limited Edition is based on the SV6 wagon and comes with the extra features including front fog lights, red sports stitching, satellite navigation and 18” black insert alloy wheels.
“Sales have been very impressive given the time that it’s been available and our stock levels are limited,” Mr Smith said.
“It’s a very good value package for the price that you pay.”
Given its limited status and outstanding value for money, the Commodore Storm is a great prospect as a family car or for the motoring enthusiast.
