Coaches Scott Bindloss and Brad Anderson will be taking local boxers Marty Snooks, Tyler Bindloss and Jarvis Bindloss to compete in the Australian Amateur Boxing Titles.
THREE of Corner Inlet Boxing Club boys along with their coaches will be heading to Surfers Paradise on Sunday, April 27 to compete at the Australian Amateur Boxing Titles.
It’s been a busy 12 months for the club with a lot of interstate travel for bouts plus stints in Canberra at the AIS for coaching from the Aussie coaches , concluding by making the Victorian team.
Those heading off include Marty Snooks fighting in the 49kg youth division; Marty won the gold medal at the titles last year in the 46kg junior division.
He will be joined by Tyler Bindloss fighting at the 70kg junior division; Tyler also competed at last year’s event winning the silver medal.
Plus making his first appearance at the titles this year is Jarvis Bindloss competing in the 46kg school boy division.
Their coaches are Scott Bindloss and Brad Anderson; Scott has also been named one of the assistant coaches of the Victorian team.
The Corner Inlet boxers are the only boxers from Gippsland to be representing Victoria at the tournament.
