KORUMBURRA Wildcats sure know how to run a tournament, and the 2015 instalment was another success, complete with a few titles from the hosts.
Teams came from across Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula to play in matches at venues in Korumburra, Leongatha and Poowong.
With that sort of spread, it took plenty of hard work and support from refs, volunteers, officials, parents and players.
Among the local grand finalists were:
• 12 Boys B; Foster 33 d Wonthaggi 22
• 10 Boys B; Leongatha 18 d Phillip Island 17
• 12 Girls B (Pool 2); Korumburra 28 d Morwell 24
• 14 Boys A; Korumburra 45 d Traralgon 42
• 14 Boys B (Pool 1); Southern Peninsula 50 d Leongatha 19
• 14 Boys B (Pool 2); Warragul 61 d Wonthaggi 44
• 19 Girls; Korumburra Wildcats Orange 39 d Korumburra Wildcats Black 34
• 16 Boys; Maffra 51 d Poowong 27.
