MURRAY Goulburn supplier, Helen Perrett, was confident when she walked into the MG Trading store at Wonthaggi that she would walk away with a new Isuzu ute.
“She told me when she headed off to the store that she was going to win it,” said her husband, Roger.
“She was over the moon when she got the call.”
The Perretts were the winners of the Isuzu D-Max ute which was part of MG Trading’s Blue Tag Sales campaign in June.
To enter, customers had to spend $1000 on any combination of products from vendors who sponsored the ‘Win-a-Ute’ competition.
They included Tru-Test, Tasman Chemicals, Zoetis, Daviesway, Dasco, Waratah, Philmac and Provico.
“MG Trading is thrilled to have the support of these key vendor partners that agreed to fund the ‘Win-a-Ute’ promotion and provide our customers with the wonderful opportunity to win this prize,” MG Trading’s Michael Loxton said.
Helen’s entry was drawn from a barrel containing more than 600 entries.
Roger said that buying a new ute wasn’t on the immediate radar with the current downturn in milk prices but it was a welcome surprise.
“Both Helen and I would like to thank everyone involved with MG Trading and the sponsors for making the prize available.”
