BASS Coast Health (BCH) has three new board directors.
Michael Ehrentraut, Ian Thompson and Nigel McCormick have all been appointed by the Minister for Health and Ambulance Services, the Honourable Jill Hennessy, to join the existing Board of Directors and ensure BCH continues to provide quality services to the community.
Michael has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry and is an executive director and COO of Viridian Advisory, with a branch located in Leongatha.
Nigel is a Chartered Accountant and is the chief financial officer of the CFA, having previously been general manager of Business Affairs of Film Victoria.
Ian is a risk professional with more than 30 years’ experience in financial markets and has spent the bulk of his working career with the leading global credit rating agency Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services.
Don Paproth, who was recently confirmed in the role of Board Chair, said the new directors bring strong skills and expertise to BCH.
“We are extremely pleased that our new directors have joined the Bass Coast Health Board.
“We have a very strong and committed board that will ensure effective governance of this very important service.
“We are all very passionate about improving health care and we will work hard to ensure we effectively and safely grow the services provided.”
The current board directors, who all volunteer their time and expertise, include Don Paproth (board chair), Christine Hammond (deputy chair), Mary O’Connor, Mim Kershaw, Dr Peter Harcourt, Neville Goodwin, Mary Whelan and Tim Large.
