SALES manager at Wonthaggi Holden, James Chetcuti, loves Holden’s Colorado range so much that the Colorado Z71 ute is his car of choice at the moment, from the whole GM range.
As a family man, though, he also loves the 7-seater Holden Trailblazer which arrived on the scene recently with a host of appointments as standard.
But they’re just two of the models in an impressive 4WD offering from The General.
“It’s superb to drive I just love it,” said James of his new ute.
“I took a couple of runs to Melbourne and back last week and if a car is good enough to make a joy out of that trip, twice in a week, it must be good.
“It’s got electronic steering, so no steering column anymore. The handling absolutely superb.”
So too the new 7-seater Holden Trailblazer.
“It’s a genuine 7-seater with surprisingly great room in the rear seats as well. It’s a turbo-charged diesel with three tonne towing capacity and all the latest techno gear; sat nav, voice control, Apple Carplay, temperature control and all the rest, plus 5-star ANCAP rating of course and all that goes with that including driver’s side knee airbag, side blind-zone alert and more.
“It’s set to become the family car of choice because it’s just so versatile. Great on the road, great for towing and rugged enough to take you off-road as well.”
The new Trailblazer got a terrific write-up in Wheels magazine recently:
“Much more than just a new nose and a new nameplate, the Trailblazer does a surprisingly good job blending undoubted towing and rough-road nous with tangible on-road refinement. Consistent steering, a very good ride for a separate-chassis truck, and respectable handling for its type says Holden’s determination in pushing for greater comfort and class has paid off.”
