IT’S on again, the 6th annual ‘Keeping Kids on Track Fun Run Festival’, at Kilcunda on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
And of course, it’s not just for kids, it’s for everyone with distances from 3km, 5km and 10km, right up to 15km and the half marathon course of 21.1km – for walkers or runners.
The idea of the event is: “To provide a sustainable, family-friendly fun run event for people of all ages and abilities, while raising money for local selected charities; to promote healthy and active lifestyle and education for the youth of our community.”
And in the past few years, the entry fees and sponsorships have helped raised valuable seeding funds for local community groups, projects and worthy individuals.
The Keeping Kids on Track Fun Run is organised by a subcommittee of the Bass Coast Triathlon Club and has really been gaining momentum each year.
For as little as $10 an individual or $20 a family you can participate and to enter or find out more simply go to www.kkot.org
