THERE’S likely to be two good reasons for local dairy farmers to attend this year’s Korumburra Show on Saturday, February 11.
Not only are they being urged to take advantage of the South Gippsland Shire Council’s offer of free tickets to the show but the Korumburra A&P Society is arranging for the top cow in the land, the Kuhne family’s winner at International Dairy Week, to be there as well.
Bred with their own local bloodlines, plus the addition of a top AI bull, the cow, Bushlea Van Fernleaf 10, came out on top in the biggest interbreed cow show in Australia and New Zealand.
It should be worth seeing.
