WITH bonnets shining brightly in the autumn sun, dozens of immaculate vintage Bugatti cars rolled into Bass Coast over the weekend of March 11 and 12.
As part of the Alternate GABR rally, the Bugatti Club of Australia headed down to Bass Coast for a weekend of fun in the sun.
Drivers first met at the State Coal Mine in Wonthaggi on Friday, March 10, where they lined up their pristine vehicles for visitors to come and admire.
The rally base for the weekend was at Inverloch’s RACV resort, and was part of the International Victorian Tour, attracting drivers not just from Australia, but internationally as well.
The Bugatti Club of Australia was formed in 1965 by like-minded ‘Bugattists’ to further the interests of the marque in Australia, and is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, sporting use and enjoyment of Bugatti cars.
