The Cloverdale Park estate isn’t just another empty paddock, work is well underway to provide space for 145 homes.

THE first stage of a new Dalyston estate has sold out within five weeks – with many retirees and young people snatching up the 25 blocks in the initial release.
It shows the real estate boom in the Bass Coast region is continuing, as PBE Real Estate Wonthaggi is bringing forward the release of stage two for the Cloverdale Park Estate.
PBE Real Estate Wonthaggi director Adam Mabilia said it’s a great area or young people to get their foot in the door and out of the rental market.
It’s five minutes away from Wonthaggi and close to the coastal town of Kilcunda.
“It’s aimed at affordability. It’s the cheapest land in the Bass Coast Shire,” Adam said.
“Dalyston’s a quiet area, you’ve got Wonthaggi on your back door step and the beach is just up the road.”
Stage two consists of 36 blocks, with most in between 500sqm and 600sqm.
“It makes for a great investment when you decide to start building,” he said of the $20,000 first home-owner grant in Bass Coast.
“We’re going to have a new recreational area in the estate with a playground, shelter and plenty of grass.
“Then there’s the Dalyston Recreational Reserve just across the road, plus you’ve got the shops.”
There are also plans, before the estate is complete, to seal Tulloch Street from the Bass Highway up to the Cloverdale Park Estate.
“People have already bought some blocks in stage two.
“It’s only going to go up by the time you settle and they’ll be worth more than what you paid.”
They average around the $120,000 mark – but change depending on the size of your block and location. They will go on title in August.
