EIGHT year old Emily Rainbow has a rare tumour in her main saliva gland.
She is urgently in need of an operation which costs $15,000 and a fundraiser, to be staged at Coal Creek on January 6 from 10am to 4pm, will help raise the necessary funds.
So come along, join in the fun of the fundraiser and help Emily get rid of Bob, the name she has given her tumour (as in “Bugger off Bob”).
As part of the event, motorcycle riders will converge on Coal Creek at about 10am, many of them coming from a run started at Port Melbourne that morning.
But wait there’s more: Scavenger Hunts from 10.30am – 1pm (registration at 10am), auctions, raffle and a ‘shave off’ will all be part of the action. Sack races, three-legged races, gumboot toss and tug of war from 2.30pm. An SES demo, jumping castle, food trucks, live music and more. It’s all happening.
