As a new resident of Inverloch, I attended my first Anzac Day in the town. The turnout at both the Dawn Service and Commemoration Service at The Hub was amazing.
The involvement of many organisations in the preparation and conduct of the events was great to see.
The readings by the school captains, scouts and children were inspiring and certainly augers well for the future to have such fine leadership qualities in our young.
The response to the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ includes “…We’ll not break faith with you who lie on many a field”.
It is obvious that Inverloch Community does ‘walk the talk’ in this regard.
Community is more than a postcode; it is the people involved and I am so proud to be able to say that I am a resident of Inverloch.
