The South Gippsland Action Group wants to give its support to our councillors in this time under the scrutiny of the government appointed monitor.
This fairly new council has shelved the unpopular Municipal Precinct development and is moving in the right direction with the handover of HACC and getting out of running caravan parks.
Most of the ongoing problems were inherited from previous councils and have been exacerbated by the administration. Now with this council settled in and moving forward I would like to see it direct the administration and settle these issues.
With the Bass Coast CEO standing down, now is the time for our council to take a new direction. Our elected representatives, with the best interests of the community, are best placed to run our council for the future.
