• A Grade, Division 1

A RAMPANT Lewie Rankin has ripped through the Kilcunda Bass batting order and set up the Stingrays to successfully claim outright points in their A grade division one clash.
Rankin claimed 6/33 including the prized wicket of Sharks’ batsman Andrew Donohue for 53, the only shining light on another dismal batting card.
However, Kilcunda Bass did improve on their first innings total of 61, notching up 131 runs and setting the Stingrays 87 runs to get for the outright.
Opening batsman Brett Debono fell early to the bowling of Ryley Duff but the class of Dave Newman was on display, batting through the innings for an unbeaten 56 and securing the win.
