WITH their numbers “dwindling”, the Korumburra Lions Club is putting the call out for new members to ensure the group’s community work can continue.
The Korumburra branch was established in 1967 and for many years had a healthy membership base of around 80 people.
Now, numbers have dropped to around 10, prompting the branch to consider new ways of raising its profile in the community.
They recently conducted a letterbox drop inviting Korumburra residents to meet members for coffee and cake at a local cafe and discuss all that Lions has to offer, from social opportunities to all the ways members help the community.
