RIVERBANK Stockfeeds, take enormous pride in their strong family roots, just as they respect each and every one of their customers as a part of the greater Riverbank family.
“As you know, the dairy industry has had a tough season and we wanted to recognise all the hard-work of farmers and staff,” Peter Bozzo, Riverbank Stockfeeds managing director said.
“Our recent competition, ‘Take a break’, which we ran at the South Gippsland Dairy Expo, was about giving someone from the industry a much-deserved break. It’s just part of our commitment to the Dairy Industry Victoria.”
Dom Smits and Kylie Hakim, South East and South Gippsland territory managers for Riverbank, recently visited the winner, milker Barry Smith and his employer Dale Weller who milk up to 1300 cows on two farms at Longwarry.
They presented Barry with his prize of a golf weekend away for two in Yarrawonga, playing on Black Bull Championship Golf Course valued at $900.
Barry, who works six days a week, is excited about having a break and recharging.
His golf game isn’t bad but mostly he is looking forward to doing some fishing on Lake Mulwala, a favourite past time.
“Once again on behalf of Riverbank Stockfeeds, we congratulate Barry Smith on his win! We hope he enjoys his well-deserved time away at stunning Yarrawonga,” Peter said.
