The South Gippsland Action Group (SGAG) are proposing to have a public discussion from 7.00pm to 8.00pm on Tuesday 5 March at the RSL as part of our monthly meeting.
We have invited real estate representatives from Korumburra/Nyora and Leongatha to comment upon the issues they are confronted with in terms of lack of suitable properties to market, we have John McCombe to talk on his idea of expanded growth and L. Love as a planning consultant will give a brief review of potential land availability and suitability for facilitating growth.
SGAG would like to encourage this discussion as it is one means of reducing the excessive rate burden in this Shire.
We would hope that the Shire would consider the concept and take suitable action. As such we would appreciate councillors attending the meeting as well.
Lindsay Love, Secretary, SGAG.
