To all those residents of Shetland Heights Road, San Remo, who are unsuccessfully begging the Shire for their heavily utilised dirt road to be bituminised and concrete kerb and channel installed, don’t bother!
Our Councillors apparently know better, and are spending $1.3 million to dig a huge hole in our iconic gardens and fill it with concrete, so that an entitled few can entertain themselves riding skateboards when the urge arises.
Yes, the $1.3mil would be better spent on pouring that concrete into kerb and channel along your road, but these Councillors are refusing to listen to the ratepayers/residents of San Remo.
Your safety concerns are falling on deaf ears as our belligerent Councillors are telling us what we need!
Rob Bishop, San Remo.
