THE Gippsland Vehicle Collection (GVC) is hosting its fourth annual Automotive Swap Meet.
If you have been searching for a rare part, want to add to your vehicle memorabilia collection or deck out your man-cave, have a keen eye for a bargain or items to sell, head to the GVC at 1A Sale Road, Maffra, from 7am on Sunday, April 28.
“[It’s] a good opportunity to socialise with like-minded people, as well as parting with some unwanted ‘gems’ that have been gathering dust in the shed,” said GVC Executive Member Peter Quennell.
It’s also an ideal opportunity to find a rare piece for your collection that has alluded you for years.
The cost is $10 per site for sellers, which includes entry for the driver, then $5 per person (buyers and sellers) thereafter.
Sellers can set up from 7am, when the gates will open to all. There will be full catering available onsite.
Camping is available for site holders on Saturday night, with information and bookings to be made with Mike on 0402 084 302.
For a great day out, come to the Automotive Swap Meet early, find your bargains, then take a look at the GVC and its latest exhibition Lost American Brands, and Model World Maffra, one of the largest public displays of scale vehicle models in Australia. Combined entry is at a discounted rate for the day of $10, with children 15 and under admitted free.
