KORUMBURRA Gun Club skeet shooters are still proving themselves at a national level.
Four members from Korumburra Gun Club attended the 2019 skeet nationals at Wagga Wagga New South Wales. The tournament ran from Sunday, May 19 to Saturday, May 25.
The biggest day of competition saw 161 shooters from around Australia and the world attend these tightly contested titles. Korumburra Gun Club members competed fiercely and came away with some great
results.
While at the 2019 nationals Jack Stockdale and other Korumburra members attended the Hall of Fame dinner where Jack Stockdale was awarded the Adrian Cousins medal which is the highest skeet award within Australia.
Trenton Tobias, club president, said that he is exceptionally proud of everyone’s efforts and it’s good to see the growth that our small club has made within the sport.
There are a lot of people that need to be thanked for the growth of skeet within Korumburra Gun Club, South Gippsland Shire, Gippsland Sports Academy, Anna Shedrina from Bronze Wing/Laporte Australia, An Anonymous Donor for their kind donation of money, The, and to all the club members and their families that put time and money into this project also. You can put some of this success down to you all.
