Mateship is the foundation of all country football Clubs.
Mates play for each other in their local team and play against mates in opposition teams and towns – that’s how it’s been for over 100 years.
Clubs and Leagues have common interest for their future such as the time Alberton League took on the Bass Valley Clubs to ensure their survival and the inclusion of Clubs Phillip Island & Kilcunda Bass when they didn’t have a League to play in.
Alberton League is not the bad guy in the current situation. Other decision makers have left them with six Clubs. We need mateship now.
We need a solution from all Clubs & Leagues.
We don’t need an “I’m ok attitude!”
