BOOKINGS are being taken for a fantastic dinner, hosted by the Gippsland Vehicle Collection and Model World Maffra, with local vehicle collectors George and Marguerite Morgan at Duart Homestead in Maffra this Saturday, October 19.
The Morgans will be sharing their experience earlier this year of taking their 1932 MG J3 to France to participate in the Montlhery Vintage Revival.
Catch up with some like-minded vehicle enthusiasts and enjoy a delicious meal while listening to George and Marguerite’s stories from their journey to France with the sporty little car.
Bookings for the dinner can be made by calling the GVC’s Sue Lawrence on 0455 556 542. Cost of the dinner is $35 a head and guests are to arrive at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Bookings are open to members and non-members of the GVC.
Other great events coming up at Maffra’s GVC include a visit by the Leukaemia Foundation’s Aussie Muscle Car rally on Wednesday, October 30, and the next display day on Sunday, November 10, held to launch the ‘Cars that Changed the World’ exhibit.
