POLARIS will stop selling their Quad Bike range (ATVs) from October 2020.
In a letter last week, Tom Marriott of Marriotts Motorcycles and Power Equipment said the business had been selling Quad Bikes for many years, however the market has been shifting towards the Side by Side models.
“These models are now more capable offroad in either farming or recreation as well as being a much safer option for the customer/workers,” he said.
“Having said that we also have a large majority of customers that are still using these Quad Bikes today, which is why we are providing this to you today.
“We are still stocking Polaris Quad Bikes up until the cut-off date as well as our other brands Suzuki and Can-Am, but constant government pressure will force change in the near future.
“Polaris has committed to continue supplying parts, accessories and warranty support for their Quad Bike range for the next decade.
“While these government regulations prevent Polaris and many other reputable brands from selling Quad Bikes in Australia, Polaris will continue manufacturing and selling Quad Bikes worldwide meaning parts support and availability will not be an issue.
“If you are avid users of Quad Bikes and Polaris in particular, I can only suggest that you get in touch with us before it is too late and stock runs out. Whether it is an update on a previous model or a stock up for the years to come, we can help provide the best solution for you.
“If you have any questions on the above, please feel free to give me a call or pop into the store.”
