Does Bass Coast Council think that the ratepayers’ dissatisfaction on the state of council roads will be mellowed by sending someone around the shire to mark up all the damaged pavement areas with yellow paint?
It would give the uninitiated the opinion that council is taking action to fix the problem.
The issue is though that some of these yellow markings have been there for so long (months in some circumstances) that the paint has worn off and council has had to come out and re-mark the areas.
It gives me the concern that with all the paint and time used to make it look like something has happened that they could have actually fixed some of those areas of damaged pavement.
In Inverloch the only way to get potholes fixed is to take a photo of it and put it on
‘Snap Send Solve’ so it gets registered and then someone is made accountable to fix it
