Last week the shire administrators gave the green light start (the Korumburra Community Hub).
But the criteria was not met: 1. Failed to communicate to the dozen-plus people that put in objections. 2. Failed to meet standards by manager of planning (I was told that eight weeks ago when I had a 20-minute meeting on the phone with this gentleman). 3. Failed to talk to people mostly affected. 4. [Those with a disability] – failed to meet all issues, with around 45 carparks taken from outside this new building and putting some back almost 1km away with slopes of slippery bricks on footpath, crossing then uphill push to top of street past Comm Bank and around is silly or past and down Radovick Street then very steep up to this building, falls all round. Just the facts.
