FOLLOW a gingerbread trail through Cowes with the help of Marrina Mouse.

Marrina Mouse’s Gingerbread Trail is a collaboration between Belinda Phillips, owner of Marrina Mouse’s Dancing House, and 19 businesses in Cowes.

The dance studio owner has created a treasure hunt through Cowes to compliment a book she wrote for her dance students about Marrina Mouse.

The free activity allows children to find different characters from Marrina Mouse’s story in different stores in Cowes and points out history along the way,

Starting at St Philips Church, home of Marrina Mouse Dancing House dance studio, the hunt includes Waterboy Café, Eleven, Cowes CWA, Phillip Island Bakery, Island Juicer, Kids Play Toy Shop, Cowes Newsagency, Silverleaves General Store, Jolly Lolly Trolley, Pinos, Neon Circus, Brinnie T Design, Penny Lane, Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, Citrus and Vine, Ocean Reach Brewery, IGA and One Stop Discount Shop.

An audio map or physical map can be used to find your way along the treasure hunt.

“It’s just about how to make people happy this year,” Belinda said.

“It’s about achieving anything no matter how small you are.”
