REMOTE learning has been challenging.
And this has certainly been the case for those who don’t have the internet and can’t access their learning at all.
A fantastic initiative by the Korumburra Rotary Club was to support students at Korumburra Secondary College by providing solutions for this.
Since March of 2020, Korumburra Rotary has been providing internet dongles and paying the accounts for usage for more than 10 families who needed support to connect to their education.
This essentially provided an internet technology connection solution for the use of multiple users in the one home.
Recently, the South Gippsland Shire Council also made a contribution to this initiative through their COVID-19 Community Grants package. This has been a great support of thousands of dollars to ensure that all of the community can connect and meet their associated educational needs.
Korumburra Secondary College would like to express their gratitude to the club for this very generous donation.
