A POP-UP art exhibition featuring a Korumburra artist’s work in lockdown will be on display next weekend.

Fiona Bilbrough’s ‘Isolation Series’ will feature 9” x 5” paintings of sunsets, seascapes and landscapes – all of local areas, as well as florals and still-life.

The exhibition will feature 9” x 5” paintings for sale at affordable prices.

“It’s a real mixed bag,” Fiona said of the exhibition, on November 28 and 29.

“There should be something for everybody, and at any budget.”

The weekend will also feature live music from local artists, including award-winning singer-songwriter Philip Beggs.

The exhibition will be at The Space at 99 Commercial Street, Korumburra.

Fiona said the weekend was thanks to a collaboration with the owner of The Space, Jo Jacobs.

“Thanks to the lovely owner Jo for being prepared to collaborate with me for a very short-term arrangement,” Fiona said.

“We were both feeling inspired to have something happen in the town because all the galleries seem to be closing or be closed at the moment.”
