POPPY Miles is well on her way to completing her 120km goal and $1000 fundraising target raising funds for this November’s ‘Tour de Cure’ cancer research.
At the time of writing (Tuesday, November 17) she had completed 87kms of running and raised more than $1379.
The 11-year-old Wonthaggi State Primary student was inspired to help find a cure after losing her nan to cancer in 2015.
“It still makes me so sad. I want to make a difference,” Poppy said.
“Every kilometre I cover will get us one step closer to a cure. I would really appreciate your support in helping me to reach my fundraising goal – any donation, no matter how small gets us closer to a world without cancer,” she said on her fundraising page.
“Thank you for your amazing support.”
