I am writing this as I’m feeling very upset and disgusted, as it was two years on Sunday, January 31 since my husband passed away and I went up to the (Korumburra) cemetery to visit his grave.

I took the dead flowers out and put others on the ground in three lots in front of the grave but decided I needed some more, so I whizzed down the street to get them.

It did go through my mind whether I should leave the flowers there or take them with me but I thought being in the country, they would be okay.

Not so! When I came back 10 minutes later, much to my disbelief, they were gone. I checked the bins and made enquiries and found they hadn’t been cleared away.

So, things are terrible when you can’t trust anyone, not even at a country cemetery.
