AWARD-WINNING, family-owned and community oriented, Spencer’s Unlock Real Estate is delighted to be serving the Korumburra region, after opening their new store in the heart of town.

Whether you’re looking for rural property, rentals, units or anything in between, the agency has got it covered with a wealth of experience and knowledge backing the team.

The agency opened its new office location earlier this month at 1 Commercial Street, Korumburra, after starting Spencer’s Unlock at Nyora two years ago.

The company specialises in the areas of Nyora, Lang Lang, Loch, Korumburra and goes as far as Koo Wee Rup to the bayside including Grantville and Corinella.

After being awarded for Korumburra Agency of the Year and sales agent Jack Gilchrist also awarded Korumburra Agent of the Year at the 2021 RateMyAgent Australia awards, it’s easy to see why their popularity is growing.

Director Jo Spencer, who grew up in Nyora, said demand had been increasing right across the board as more people look to move from Melbourne following COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions.

“We’re finding these areas are really high in demand at the moment; only being an hour and a half away from the city, a lot of people are making that lifestyle change sooner,” Ms Spencer said.

“A lot of people are working from home and we’re finding a huge demand from Melbourne buyers that want a bit of space around them now.

“We’re really proud of the team and what we’ve been doing over the last couple of years, building a name no one had ever heard of, to now people being familiar with us.”

Ms Spencer is striving to push the company’s presence and is a strong advocator for looking after her team members.

“I feel if people feel appreciated and well looked after and they genuinely enjoy coming to work, you can create a really positive environment,” she said.

“That’s our thinking… we are a team and a bit of a family and having that positive workspace is huge and that’s my main focus.”
