A SMALL but powerful group of about 20 people marched in Inverloch on Saturday in support of stopping black deaths in custody.

Organiser, strong and proud Boon Wurrung woman, Sonia Weston pictured, said the local march sent an important message.

“We so need to do more here to allow the community to learn more about the truth without talking about the bad that has and still is happening,” Ms Weston said.

“We don’t heal. Our Ancestors are still angry. We need big changes here.”
