Eugene Hamilton and The Money coming to Archies Creek in July.


THERE’S a big weekend of live music coming up at the Archies Creek Hall, beginning on Friday night, May 28 with the remarkable Kutcha Edwards performing songs from his soon to be released album ‘Circling Time’. Doors Open @ 8pm, showtime @ 8.30pm.

Kutcha is a songman, not simply a songwriter.

He draws on a profound sense of all those who have gone before him on this land, along with his own life experiences so this show will no doubt be something very special.

On Sunday afternoon, May 30, multi-award-winning blues act, The Backsliders, will also be performing at the Hall showcasing their latest album ‘Bonecrunch’.

The Backsliders are renowned for energetic and captivating live shows and this promises to be just that. There’s only a handful of tickets left for this one so get busy!

The Caravan Music Club at the Archies Creek Hotel have also announced four new shows that have just gone on sale.

First up, ‘The world’s most living man’, Eugene Hamilton and The Money are all set to take you on an irresistible musical ride bringing a high octane, testosterone drenched evening of power cabaret to the Archies stage on Saturday, July 10. Tickets on sale now.

On Sunday, July 11, the fabulous Rebecca Barnard will be singing the songs of the great Joni Mitchell. Accompanied by renowned musician Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera), they both have put together their favourite Joni Mitchell songs covering a broad range from each era of this extraordinary artists career. Tickets on sale now.

Powerhouse trio Opelousas will be playing pulsating rhythms from the belly of the blues on Saturday, July 17. Opelousas is a feast of grit and glory featuring a roux of Kerri Simpson’s powerful raw vocals, Alison Ferrier’s dirty stripped-back electric guitar, amplified fiddle and smooth vocal tones, peppered with Anthony “Shorty” Shortte’s swamp-soaked percussion. Critically acclaimed New Zealand born troubadour Matt Joe Gow brings his soulful alt country sound to Archies Creek on Sunday July 18. Matt will be playing songs from his latest award-winning album ‘Break, Rattle and Roll’. Tickets on sale now.
