THE Bunurong Environment Centre has become a collection point for the recycling of plastic bread bag tags.

Thanks to the community’s support, the centre has collected enough bread tags to contribute to Inverloch Rotary’s campaign to fund wheelchairs in South Africa.

The bread tags are recycled into products and the funds from the sale of these products are used to provide wheelchairs for disadvantaged communities.

The Bunurong Centre is also a collection point for recycling toothpaste tubes, plastic toothbrushes, electric toothbrush heads, pens, markers, felt tips and highlighters.

Keep these items out of landfill by collecting them at home and bringing them into the Bunurong Environment Centre on the corner of Ramsay Blvd and The Esplanade, Inverloch.

The centre is open from 10am to 4pm six days a week, closed on Tuesdays.
