THE Gippsland Region Public Health Unit has advised that “no new positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Bass Coast and there are no new Exposure Sites to announce”.

“The total number of current active COVID-19 cases in Bass Coast is 3,” said GRPHU.

“These cases are being managed via the COVID Positive Pathway process, which includes regular contact and health monitoring.”

* Blue Gum Garden Centre – Newhaven Sunday 12 September, 12.20pm – 1.15pm

However, while local business operators and the general community hopes the Bass Coast cluster doesn’t grow, the warning about consequences was there for all to see at today’s state COVID-19 update when the Health Minister Martin Foley declared a “short, sharp lockdown for the regional areas of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast and the Mitchell Shire.

Latrobe City

No new positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Latrobe City and there are no new Exposure Sites to announce. The total number of current active COVID-19 cases in Latrobe City is 1.
