PREMIER Daniel Andrews today announced there would be an easing of restrictions in regional Victoria, likely with the exception of Shepparton, next week.

And from 11.59pm tomorrow night (Thursday, September 2). playgrounds will reopen, and in-home care can resume for school-aged children if both parents are authorised workers.

However, the Premier confirmed there would be a further easing of restrictions once 70 per cent of eligible Victorians have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
