ACTIVE COVID-19 case numbers are continuing to slide; down from 784 last Friday, to 697 at the weekend and now 666 active cases, managed by Gippsland Region Public Health Unit on Wednesday, November 10.

The Gippsland cases are spread across the six municipalities as follows: Bass Coast 7, East Gippsland 48, Latrobe 421, South Gippsland 9, Wellington 23 and Baw Baw 158.

These numbers may be different from those issues by the Victorian Health Department.

There are four people in hospital with three of those in ICU.

Latrobe has recorded 19 new cases from yesterday, Baw Baw 13 and one each in Bass Coast, South Gippsland and Wellington while there are no new cases in East Gippsland from yesterday.

Bass Coast

There are currently 7 active COVID-19 cases in Bass Coast being managed by the GRPHU.
