TOMORROW’S Remembrance Day service at Inverloch has been moved from the beautifully decorated cenotaph (pictured) to the RSL Hall due to safety concerns following heavy rain and nearby works.

Graham Wilson, a member of the Inverloch RSL, said the grassed area would be too unstable for tomorrow’s service.

He said the safety of RSL members, especially those using walking frames and wheelchairs, could not be guaranteed and hence the service had to be moved to the RSL Hall.

The Bass Coast Shire Council, which manages the Inverloch Community Hub, has been contacted for comment.

More to come.
