THE 32nd edition of The Great Aussie Pie & Sausage Roll Competition is here, with several local businesses competing for the esteemed awards.

Locally, Thornton’s Bakery in Leongatha, Paul The Pieman Bakery in Inverloch, Kelly’s Bakery in Korumburra and Jojo’s Gluten Free Goodies in Kernot have so far entered the competition, according to organisers.

The competition will take place in Sydney next week from November 24 to 26.

Since its inception more than three decades ago, the competition has not only brought the baking industry together but has seen winners sell out of products and experience levels of demand that keeps them working overtime for months.

It’s safe to say that this is a competition of excitement and prestige for anyone who’s interested in pies and sausage rolls.
