THE Local Produce and Sustainability Market, held at the River Garden in Bass recently, was a resounding success.

The market was well attended, with a range of stallholders offering sustainable solutions.

Telsa owners brought along their cars so attendees could gain a closer look at electric cars, while there was also a selection of local produce and plants, as well as the team from Westernport Water.

Plants grown locally by volunteers at the Bass Landcare Indigenous Nursery group were also on sale.

All in all, it was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to learn about where their food is grown, how to be more sustainable, which bins to put certain rubbish into and more.

The market was the final event following six weeks of more than 60 events and online workshops as part of the Sustainability Festival ‘Reimagined’ 2021, hosted by the Bass Coast Landcare Network.
