ANDERSONS Inlet Probus Club were proud to mark 30 years since their walking group began at a special event last week.

They have clocked nearly 1500 walks across the three decades.

Almost 30 members of the walking group, which is combined with Inverloch Probus Club, met last Friday at the Inverloch Esplanade Hotel to celebrate the milestone.

The group was proud to honour its founding members, who are still actively involved, and highlight their achievements over the years.

The walking group started in April 1992, with 15 walkers and one dog going from Screw Creek and back.

The group has ensured their history is well preserved, with two photo albums filled with many outings across numerous locations.

Anyone is most welcome to join the group and there is no cost.

The 9am walk is around 5km, and the group meet on a Friday at the car park behind the Inverloch Environment Centre.

A less demanding walk commences from the

Albatross seat beside the Environment Centre at 9.30am.

The group then join with other past walkers for a 10.30am coffee and social chat at the Espy.

Please note there is no walk this week on Good Friday.
