State award was music to Archies Creek’s ears

1 min read

THE Archies Creek Hotel and its music promoters the Caravan Music Club have won a big award at the annual Music Victoria Awards this week.

Archies Creek Hotel owners Peter Foley, Mary Howlett and Sue Foley were on hand at the glittering music industry event to “joyfully” receive the ‘Best Regional Venue’ at the awards.

Posting on social media, the local music promoters expressed their delight.

“We Won! A heartfelt thanks to all the beautiful souls who took the time to vote for us in the 'Best Regional Venue'. So much joy!” said Peter Foley on behalf of the team.

But it’s hardly surprising, given its support for Australian and Victoria music, and also the impressive attendance roll `by overseas’ talent, especially before, during (where possible) and after the pandemic, plus the great improvements made at the venue, and its inclusive attitude to the local community, that Archies Creek Hotel and Caravan Music have won this amazing award.
