Stay safe and keep away from fallen powerlines, says Ausnet

AUSNET’S ‘Outage Tracker’ appears to be offline but in case you can’t see their Facebook page, here’s their message to their customers:

“Severe weather has caused widespread outages across our network and many of our customers are without power.

“More bad weather is expected late in the afternoon and into this evening. Customer and community safety is our priority and we'll work to get the power back on as quickly and safely as possible.

“Please stay safe and follow any Emergency Management Victoria directions:

- If you have an electric water pump, stock up on bottled water

- If you're in immediate danger, call 000

- For emergency services, call the SES on 13 25 00

- Report faults and emergencies on 13 17 99 or online at www.ausnetservices.com.au/report-fault

- Life support customers, call 1800 818 832 anytime
